Jessica Ann Simpson (born July 10, 1980 in Abilene, Texas) is an American pop singer and actress who rose to fame in the late 1990s. She has so far achieved 7 Billboard Top 40 hits and has five gold and two multi-platinum RIAA certified albums.




"Where You Are" is the second single from Jessica Simpson's debut album, Sweet Kisses. Released in 2000, the single (which is a duet with Nick Lachey) reached sixty-two on the Billboard Hot 100 , becoming Simpson's second Hot 100 chart entry. The single is most known for being the first single ever in which Simpson professionally records with Lachey. (The couple have gone on to record several duets since then including, but not limited to "A Whole New World" and "Baby, It's Cold Outside".)
