Thirty years ago, Elvis Presley performed at the University of Dayton Arena. It was his fourth show at the arena, and unknown to the fans, it would be his last show there. The lights went down, and the theme from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey started to play — and the 13,750 fans at the University of Dayton Arena came to their feet.
